What is Daebak Markets?
Daebak Markets is a prediction market where you can bet on K-pop events — comebacks, chart wins, awards, debuts, and more. Make predictions, earn Daebuks when you're right, and see how your K-pop instincts measure up against other fans.
What are Daebuks?
Daebuks (DBK) are the in-app play currency of Daebak. You use Daebuks to make bets, and you earn more when your predictions come true. Daebuks are not real money — they're points, like in a video game.
Is this real money?
No. Daebuks are play points, not real currency. You can't buy them, sell them, or convert them to dollars. Daebak is a free-to-play game where you compete with other K-pop fans to make the best predictions.
How do I get Daebuks?
Sign up and you'll get 1,000 Daebuks free. You can earn more by:
- Signing in once a week
- Making predictions on different markets each week
- Referring friends
- Winning your bets
How do bets work?
Each market asks a yes/no question — like "Will aespa win Daesang at the 2026 MAMA Awards?" You pick YES or NO, decide how many Daebuks to bet, and confirm.
If the answer turns out to match your pick, you win more Daebuks than you bet. The earlier and more confidently you bet, the more you can win.
What happens when a market resolves?
When the event happens (like the MAMA Awards taking place), the market resolves with the real answer. If you bet on the correct side, your Daebuks payout shows up in your account automatically.
How do referrals work?
Share your referral code with friends from the Rewards page. When a new friend signs up using your code and places their first bet, you both earn 1,000 Daebuks. You can earn referral bonuses from up to 25 friends per campaign.
How does sign-in work?
You sign in with your email, Google, or Apple — no apps to install, no passwords to remember. We'll send you a code to verify, and you're in. Daebak handles all the technical setup behind the scenes so you can focus on predicting.
Can I lose anything?
Daebuks only. There's nothing real at stake — Daebak is a free game. If you bet on the wrong side, you lose the Daebuks you wagered. Sign up and you'll get 1,000 free to play with.
Why is this safe?
Daebak is a free-to-play game with no real money at stake. Your sign-in is handled by a trusted security service used by major apps — you don't manage any keys or passwords, just sign in with your email. Every bet and payout is recorded transparently.
What's next for Daebak?
We're targeting public launch at Korea Blockchain Week in September 2026. Right now we're in beta — you can play, earn Daebuks, and compete on the leaderboard. Prize entries earned during beta will count toward our launch prize pool.
